# Piratframes

> Piratframes is an independent French manufacturer of premium carbon fiber FPV drone frames for freestyle and cinematic flying. Designed and flown by pilots since 2016, sold direct to riders and through partner shops worldwide.

Piratframes builds true-X and squashed-X carbon fiber frames in the 2" to 7" range. The brand is known for a distinctive hardware aesthetic (aluminum camera cages, VTX slider system, 7075 alloy standoffs), for durability under race and freestyle conditions, and for being designed by working pilots rather than a marketing team. Complete kits include the carbon frame, aluminum hardware, TPU accessories, lipo pads and straps. Individual spare parts (arms, plates, cages, hardware) are available for every frame currently in the lineup.

The current lineup: Punch (5"), Shorty (5"), Matey2 (2.5"/3.5"), Gems (2"/2.5"/3"). Bagar (5") is in late development. Punch Cruise is in early design. Older frames Sloop V3 and Hook V2 are discontinued but some spares remain available.

- [Bagar 5"](https://piratframes.com/bagar.html): New 5-inch freestyle frame, in late development (design ~87% complete). Not yet available for purchase.
